HARRISBURG – United States Attorney David J. Freed and Dauphin County District Attorney Francis T. Chardo provide the following update after this afternoon’s press conference on the Harrisburg shooting.
As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer for Dauphin County it has always been my goal to provide transparency to our government and to give the public a channel for communicating with the police, free of intimidation. We can achieve this goal through technology and a commitment to better engage the public and to keep our community safe.
Keeping our county safe is a commitment not by one group of people, rather through the investment of all. Together, we can help all citizens feel safe, enjoy quality of life and hold offenders accountable.
