HARRISBURG – United States Attorney David J. Freed and Dauphin County District Attorney Francis T. Chardo provide the following update after this afternoon’s press conference on the Harrisburg shooting.
As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer for Dauphin County it has always been my goal to provide transparency to our government and to give the public a channel for communicating with the police, free of intimidation. 12/05/2014 10:20 -A female, de-clawed, long, haired cat was found on Pine St. The cat is being temporarily cared for by the person who caught it until the owner is located. The animal can be claimed by contacting the Police Dept. (717)692-2323.
12/03/2014 22:40- A resident in the 400 block of Johnson St requested at officers check the residence. The complainant reported hearing noises and being concerned that someone may have been at the residence. The property was checked, but there was no sign of criminal activity.
12/03/2014 14:30- A complainant reported a possible theft committed by a resident in the 900 block of Church St. The complainant and an ex-girlfriend had taken a loan out together. The ex-girlfriend has reportedly not been paying the bill and the complainant wanted help from police. The matter was...
12/03/2014 08:51 A business in the 700 block of Center St reported that a family member of an employee had made some threats regarding the business. The matter was investigated and it was determined no police further action was needed.
