HARRISBURG – United States Attorney David J. Freed and Dauphin County District Attorney Francis T. Chardo provide the following update after this afternoon’s press conference on the Harrisburg shooting.

On June 30, 2013 Steelton Police conducted a traffic stop on a red in color Mercury Mountaineer after the officer recognized the driver as a wanted person. The driver was identified as Michael L Jones, who was arrested for DUI and a bench warrant.
On June 21, 2013 Steelton Police conducted a traffic stop on a blue and silver Ford pick-up truck for failing to stop at a posted stop sign in the area of Bessemer Street and Bailey Street. The driver was identified as Bruce A Ruppert III, who was arrestd for DUI.
On June 21, 2013 Steelton Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of North Harrisburg Street and Pine Street. The driver was identified as Joesph Stakem, who was arrested for Small Amount of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia, and Open Container.
On June 20, 2013 Steelton Police conducted a traffic stop on a gold in color Buick LeSabre for speeding in the 300 block of Pine Street. The driver was identified as Rodney K Williams, who was arrested for Small Amount of Marijauan and Drug Paraphenalia.
