HARRISBURG – United States Attorney David J. Freed and Dauphin County District Attorney Francis T. Chardo provide the following update after this afternoon’s press conference on the Harrisburg shooting.
As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer for Dauphin County it has always been my goal to provide transparency to our government and to give the public a channel for communicating with the police, free of intimidation. On 2/24/15 at 2351 hours, Steelton Police had contact with Michael Hardy. As a result Hardy was charged with Speeding, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Charges will be filed with MDJ Kenneth Lenker 12-2-02
On 2/24/15 at 1435 hours, Steelton Police did stop a vehicle in which the driver was Gary Courts. Courts had an active Capias arrest warrant. Courts was arrested and transported to Dauphin County Booking.
On 2/24/15 at 1435 hours, Steelton Police assisted special investigators with stopping a vehicle in connection with a bank robbery suspect. Police arrested Andre Mosley who was a passenger in the vehicle and he was turned over to investigating authorities.
