HARRISBURG – United States Attorney David J. Freed and Dauphin County District Attorney Francis T. Chardo provide the following update after this afternoon’s press conference on the Harrisburg shooting.
As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer for Dauphin County it has always been my goal to provide transparency to our government and to give the public a channel for communicating with the police, free of intimidation. On 03-04-17 the Steelton Police investigated a suspicious vehicle in the Rite Aid parking lot after hours. Officers did arrest Jorden Crawford for possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 03-04-17 the Steelton Police conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Swatara Street. Officers did conduct an investigation and arrested Arif Abdulwahab for possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 03-01-17 the Steelton Police conducted a traffic stop in the first block of North Front Street. After an investigation officers did arrest Tyrell Weaver for DUI and driving under suspension. Officers also arrested Rebecca Hicks for endangering the welfare of children as there was a minor child...
On 02-27-17 the Steelton Police responded to the 1000 block of South Front Street for a vehicle driving erratically. Officers did conduct a traffic stop and arrested Sara Desso for driving under the influence of marijuana and PCP. She was taken to the Dauphin County Judicial Center.
Sometime around September 21, 2013 Barbara M. Pfaff broke into a home that she no longer lived at and stole a water heater from the basement. Pfaff had formerly lived in the home she broke into but had sold it and transferred the property to the victim on September 16, 2013.
On November 18, 2013 Niki Tryon was arrested for retail theft at the WalMart on Grayson Road. Tryon attempted to leave the store without paying for a cart full of merchandise valued at over $550. Tryon was taken into custody without incident and charged with retail theft.
On November 16, 2013 the Swatara Township Police arrested Shawn Davenport for possession with the intent to deliver marijuana. On November 16, 2013 Holly Harnden III was arrested at the WalMart on Grayson Road for retail theft. Harnden attempted to leave the store without paying for merchandise valued over $230. Harnden was arrested without incident and is charged with retail theft.
