This little one was found running around in the area of the 300 Block of East High Street in Middletown Borough. She has no collar, and no ID chip was located with our scanner. She is very skittish. If you are her owner, please contact Middletown Borough Police at 717-558-6900

PennDOT announced that a contractor is scheduled to begin an emergency project to replace a deteriorated pipe on Route 322 (Governor Road) in Derry Township.

Work is set to begin Monday, April 20, weather permitting. There will be temporary lane restrictions under daylight flagging on West Governor Road between Greenlea Road and Hockersville Road. There also will be flagging on Cherry Drive at the intersection with West Governor Road while the contractor replaces the pipe at the intersection.

The electric is out in town and in surrounding areas due to a main Met Ed supply line being out.

The 200-300 block of East Main Street (Spruce to Vine streets) are back open as the debris have been removed from the roadway. Thank you for understanding and cooperating.

The incident has been resolved peacefully. The area may still be blocked off while officers remain to finish up securing the scene.

Police are investigating an active incident in the 700 Block of Cocoa Avenue. Police have blocked off the area and the surrounding block. Residents are asked to shelter in place unless directed by police. Please stay away from the area.
