Harrisburg Police Investigate Weekend Shooting



Previously reported by Harrisburg Police:

On 7/23/17 at 0046 hours, Harrisburg Police responded to area of N 13th and Shrubb Streets to investigate gunshots in the area.  Officer were able to locate blood in the area of Linden and Shrubb Streets.  No victim or witnesses were located at the time.  Officers advised that a juvenile gunshot victim had been driven into the Harrisburg Hospital ER from this location.  The victim states that he observed a fight between groups of unknown males.  Individuals from the group started shooting and he was shot through the front of his forearm, while he was running from the area.  The juvenile victim ran home and the family was eventually able to take him to the hospital with a broken arm.  The victim was not able provide a description of any of the male involved with the fight or the shooting. 

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest in this case.  Tips can be submitted through the Crime Watch website or by calling Police at 717-558-6900.  Tipsters can remain anonymous.
