Police Seek Information on Human Trafficking Case

Dauphin County District Attorney's Office announced today the arrest of two individuals in a series of charges related to involuntary servitude as it relates to human trafficking. Edward Edmonds, 31, and Daerell Holmes, 20, residing in and around the 2400 Block of 6th Street in Harrisburg and the 2500 Block of Lexington respectively. Both suspects in this case were using individuals against their will by withholding personal property, threats and acts of violence, and controlling access to controlled substances.  The victims in this case were compelled to commit crimes, specifically retail thefts, of primary electronics such as PlayStation and Xbox. In addition, the female victims were forced into sexual acts in return for drugs. The victims were also subjected to violent acts when they were unable to pay their debts.

The suspects in this case were acting under the guide of Edmonds and his ministry, 'Beyond Your Limits Ministry' . While this was a front to disguise his activity and law enforcement was aware of the false front since the fall of 2016 we strongly feel that there may be more victims related to this criminal enterprise. If you or anyone you know has any information or has crossed paths with these individuals, Dauphin County District Attorney's Office is asking you to contact us through the Submit A Tip feature below. We are asking if you were a victim of this, please include your contact information there will be services available to victims of this crime.
