Weekly Police Blotter-6/29/2020

ARRESTS

  1. Christopher Brewer, 47, of Harrisburg, was arrested for DUI, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Stop at Red Signal and Careless Driving for an incident that occurred on June 17, 2020 at 4:31 pm.
    Location of Incident:  1130 Mae Street, Hummelstown.
  2. Jaratt Derita-Dill, 30, of Harrisburg, was arrested for DUI for an incident that occurred on June 19, 2020 at 11:14 pm.
    Location of Incident:  West Chocolate Avenue, Hershey.
  3. Anthony Scaturro, 24, of Hershey, was arrested for Harassment for an incident that occurred on June 19, 2020 at 8:37 am.  Scaturro allegedly spit in the face of the victim during an argument.
    Location of Incident: 1646 East Chocolate Avenue, Hershey.
  4. Dezaray Barr, 19, of Hershey, was arrested for Harassment for an incident that occurred on June 19, 2020 at 8:37 am.  Barr allegedly struck and ripped a necklace off the victim.
    Location of Incident: 1646 East Chocolate Avenue, Hershey.
  5. James Schroll, 41, of Lebanon, was arrested for Defiant Trespassing, False Identification to Law Enforcement Officer and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia for an incident that occurred on June 20, 2020 at 10:52 am.  Schroll did enter and remain in a room at the Rio Motel while not privileged or permitted to do and provided false information to his identity to police.
    Location of Incident:  60 Washington Avenue, Hershey.
  6. Broderick Simmons-Settles, 24, of Harrisburg, was arrested for Strangulation, Simple Assault and Unauthorized Use of Motor/Other Vehicles for an incident that occurred on June 21, 2020 at 6:50 pm.  Simmons-Settles did push, strike, shove the victim and did place his hand over the victim’s mouth and nose during the assault, causing difficulty for the victim to breathe.  Simmons-Settles took the victim’s car after the assault without permission from the victim who is the owner of the car taken.
    Location of Incident:  17XX Lehman Street, Hershey.
  7. Greg Laudermilch, 64, of Palmyra, was arrested for DUI, Accident Damage to Unattended Vehicle or Property and Disregard Traffic Lane for an incident that occurred on June 24, 2020 at 3:30 pm.  Laudermilch drove on an embankment and caused grass/turf damage and struck a no parking sign and red roadside marker before fleeing the scene of the crash.

    Summary:  A Honda Accord driven by Evan Heuer and a Honda CRV driven by [juvenile] collided with each other at Bachmanville Road and Homestead Road, Hershey

    Summary:  A Chevrolet Silverado driven by Greg Laudermilch left the roadway and drove on a grass embankment in front of the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, Hershey

    Summary:  A BMW owned by Edith Torres was struck by an unknown vehicle while legally parked at Tanger Outlets, Hershey

    Summary:  Curtis Cooley was driving a Dodge Challenger when he fell asleep and struck an impact attenuator located in the median while traveling on Waltonville Road on Ramp SR8014, Hummelstown.  Vehicle towed from scene.  No injuries reported.

    Summary:  A BMW X3 driven by [juvenile] and a Chevrolet Equinox driven by Robert Youtz collided with each other on Waltonville Road at the intersection with Roush Road, Hummelstown.  One vehicle towed from scene.  No injuries reported.  BMW X3 pulled out from stopped position on Roush Road to travel north on Waltonville Road and struck Equinox that was traveling north on Waltonville Road.
