On August 29, 2019, at 8:43 a.m., Harrisburg Police Officers responded to the area of S 13th and Kittatinny Streets for a report of an armed robbery. The victim stated that he had been robbed at gun point by an unknown male. The suspect was described as a black male with a bear, white jean shorts, white polo shirt and white hat.
Officers observed an individual matching the description of the suspect. The male, identified as Tarrin Britton, was detained and positively identified by the victim. Britton was found to be in possession of a black and silver handgun, which was determined to be a plastic toy gun. He was subsequently charged with Robbery with the Threat of Immediate Serious Bodily Injury and Possession of An Instrument of Crime.
