On Sunday, December 30, 2018, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Harrisburg Police Officers were dispatched to the Police Station lobby for a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he had finished work at 3:00 a.m. and walked to Sunoco gas station at 2nd and Maclay Streets. He was then approached by a male in a small black sedan. The male got out of the vehicle, aimed a gun at the victim and stated, “Give me your money or I’ll kill you.” The victim handed the male his money.
The victim was able to provide vehicle information, including the description and plate number, to Officers. The vehicle was registered to an address in the city, just a few blocks from where the robbery occurred. Officers went to the residence and a Deonte Hodge answered the door. The victim positively identified Hodge has the male who robbed him. A search was done of the residence and Officers found the stolen cash, as well as a bag of marijuana and a packet of blunts.
Hodge was transported to County booking and was charged with Robbery, Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Small Amount of Marijuana.
