On June 12, 2018, at approximately 12:57 p.m., Harrisburg Police was dispatched to the area of N 6th and Curtin Streets for a reported groping incident. The male that was to have committed the crime was still on scene.
Upon arrival Officers found the accused, La Shawn Holloway, laying on the sidewalk in the 2400 block of N 6th St. He was laying there because he was confronted by the husband of the female that he groped.
Officers contacted the victim, who stated that she was walking south on 6th Street after leaving the store in the 2500 block of N 6th Street. While walking, Holloway walked up and grabbed the victim from behind. He wrapped his arms around her body and grabbed her breasts with both hands. He then grabbed her buttocks with both hands mumbled something. He let go of her buttocks and then grabbed her breasts again as the victim screamed for her husband.
The husband then approached Holloway yelling and Holloway laid on the ground and waited on police arrival. There were numerous persons in the area that assisted in controlling the situation until police arrived on scene.
Holloway was charged with one count each of Indecent Assault and Disorderly Conduct.
