On February 4, 2018, at approximately 2:52 a.m., Harrisburg Police was dispatched to the 1200 Block of Community Drive for a report of a domestic disturbance involving a knife. The reporting party advised that Brandon Holmes had a knife to his girlfriend’s neck. Upon arrival, Holmes was found to be inside the residence and was detained without incident.
Officers learned that earlier that day, Holmes arrived at the residence very angry and suspected to be under the influence of Act-64 (PCP). He was aggressive toward both the reporting party and girlfriend. Holmes grabbed the reporting party by the arm, causing a bruise. Holmes began kicking the door. Holmes left the residence briefly. Upon returning, Holmes became confrontational with the girlfriend and began kicking and punching her in the face. Holmes then grabbed a knife from the kitchen and chased her out the back door. He then turned the knife toward the reporting party. Holmes was very upset and began threatening both. Holmes then approached the girlfriend and held the knife to her neck, causing a minor cut on the left side of her face.
Holmes was arrested at that time for Simple Assault and Assault with a Deadly Weapon and transported to the Dauphin County Booking Center.
