On Thursday August 26th, at about 4:30pm, the Harrisburg Police responded to the 300 block of South 29th St for a report of an accident involving a motorized bike and automobile. Upon arrival officers observed the operator of the motorized bike being attended to by EMS. The operator, an adult male, was later transported to a local hospital where they died as a result of their injuries. The Harrisburg Police Traffic Safety Unit responded, and is conducting the investigation. The preliminary investigation indicated that the motorized bike veered into the automobiles lane of travel, and a collision ensued.
