On 3/29/17 at 2304 hours, Harrisburg Police were dispatched for a gunshot victim that had arrived at Harrisburg Hospital. The 30-year-old victim was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
Officers immediately went into the hospital and learned that the gunshot victim had a significant injury on the lower left leg just above the ankle. The victim had a metal plate from a previous injury and the bullet struck the plate causing it to shatter. This created a significant exit wound on the lower leg.
Officers spoke to the victim who was not able to provide much information regarding the incident other than it occurred somewhere on State Street. The victim was transported to Hershey Hospital where he immediately went into surgery.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident.
