On Wednesday October 9th 2024, at about 9:00pm, the Harrisburg Police responded to the 400 block of Hamilton Street for a report of shots fired. Upon the arrival of officers, they located multiple spent shell casings. A short time later the police were advised that a gunshot victim had arrived at a local hospital seeking medical attention. The victim, an adult male, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. An investigation into this incident was immediately initiated and is ongoing at this time.
