On Wednesday March 16th 2020, at about 7:00pm, the Harrisburg Police were dispatched to the first block of South 17th Street for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival officers were advised that a shooting victim, an adult male, had been transported to a local hospital via a private vehicle. Other officers then made contact with the victim at a local hospital, where the victim would later be declared deceased as a result of his injuries. An investigation was immediately initiated, and is ongoing at this time.
