Person Of Interest / Witness In Shooting That Left Woman Paralyzed



On 4/10/16 at 2348 hours, Harrisburg Police responded to a call for a female shot inside a vehicle in the area of the 1400 block of Swatara Street.  Officers arrived and found a female, B/F/33, lying outside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.  The victim was taken immediately to Hershey Hospital and was listed in critical condition and ultimately paralyzed from the waist down.

Through the investigation the police have identified Marshall Everett as a person of interest / witness in this case.  Detectives have spoken to Everett over the phone but Everett has refused to meet with police or cooperate in the case. 

Everett was identified through video to have a firearm in his possession shortly after the shooting had occurred. 

Everett has been charged with Persons Not to Possess a Firearm and a state parole detainer.  He is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident
