On Sunday July 24th 2022, at about noon, the Harrisburg Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of North 16th and Carnation Streets. Upon arrival officers located an adult male that had been assaulted and shot at, suffering a graze wound to the back of his head. The male was transported to a local hospital for medical attention, and is expected to fully recover. The initial investigation suggests that the victim and suspect knew each other, and that the incident was isolated.
