1 injured in shooting

On 6/25/2017 at 0249hours, Harrisburg Police officers in the downtown area and heard several gunshots coming from the area of N 2nd and South Streets.  Officers responded to the area and found a male, B/M/24, lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his buttocks.  EMS responded and transported the victim to Hershey Medical Center. 

Officers spoke with the victim’s girlfriend who stated that they came to downtown area to get something to eat.  Afterwards they were walking on South Street when a white Cadillac stopped and fired several shots at them.  The vehicle fled west on South Street out of her view.  A crime scene was located on the sidewalk, on the north side of South Street.  The victim was taken into surgery and was listed in stable condition.  Unknown if this is related to a fight earlier in the evening near this location.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident.
