Dog Bite Incident

On May 8, 2018 at 3:40 pm., Harrisburg Police responded to the 2000 block of Swatara Street for a dog bite.  Officers met the two juvenile victims who stated that they were walking home from school on Hale Ave when they were confronted by two dogs.  One of the dogs bit the one child on the leg.  The other child tried to get the dog off his friend and was bit on the arm by the dog.  Both children were able to break free and run away from the dogs.  Both children sought medical attention and are expected to recover fully from their injuries.
