UPDATE: Pedestrian Fatality Investigation

Harrisburg Police completed the fatal pedestrian accident investigation and recently met with the District Attorney’s Office.  The District Attorney’s Office has determined that this is not a criminal matter.

Through the investigation it was determined that the victim crossed the street at a section that was not deemed for pedestrian crossing.  As a result, the victim was in a blind spot which prevented the driver from seeing him or reacting until the victim had been struck.
