Coats for Kids

The Harrisburg Bureau of Police has organized a Coats for Kids initiative that will take place from December 7th 2020, through March 1st of 2021. The goal is to collect or acquire new coats to be distributed to children throughout Harrisburg. The public is encouraged to join this initiative and may drop off new children's coats at the Harrisburg Police Station (123 Walnut St, Harrisburg) between 8:00am and 8:00pm any day of the week. The public can also drop off new children's coats at the Harrisburg Police Allison Hill Substation (313 S 15th St, Harrisburg) between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

A large portion of the monies raised during the Beards For A Benefit fundraiser will be used to purchase new children's coats for this initiative. For more information on the initiative please contact Community Policing Liaison Blake Lynch, at balynch@harrisburgpa.gov.
