The M&T Bank Ice & Fire Festival is returning to the City of Harrisburg on Saturday, March 4th from 11am – 8pm. The free event features over 50 ice sculptures, both small and large, along the Downtown street festival path on North 2nd Street as well as City Island, Italian Lake, Shipoke, Midtown, and Reservoir Park. Sculptures will be illuminated from 7-9pm. The street festival includes a giant ice slide, fire dancers, smores, performances, food trucks, artisans, vendors, and more. Local businesses will join the fun by offering a variety of activities such as ice and fire-themed cocktail and coffee specials, horse-drawn carriage rides around City Island, and free crafts. There will also be an Ice & Fire Festival Scavenger Hunt Contest with a chance to win gift cards from Harrisburg City businesses.
