The Harrisburg Bureau of Police will start handing out new Non-Reportable Accident Exchange Cards in the coming weeks. Residents and visitors are reminded that non-reportable accidents do not require a police accident report, and operators involved in a minor crash will be provided with a Non-Reportable Accident Exchange Card.
Vehicle operators are also reminded that when involved in an accident the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code (75-3744a) requires that the driver provide their name, address, and registration of the vehicle being driven. Also, upon request exhibit their driver's license and insurance information.
