Trick-or-treating will take place throughout Harrisburg neighborhoods on Thursday, October 30th, from 5:30-7:30 pm.
To ensure a safe and fun night, choose a costume that won’t obscure vision or pose a tripping hazard, and wear reflective tape or use a flashlight to improve visibility. A responsible adult should accompany young children; older children should have a planned route and a specific time they are expected to be home. All trick-or-treaters should be alert for cars and cross only at the corner, never between parked vehicles or mid-block.
Motorists should expect additional pedestrian traffic on the 30th. Drivers should watch for children crossing the street, obey all traffic signs and signals, and drive slowly in residential neighborhoods.
We hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween!
