On 7/20/2019 the Highspire police were dispatched to 71 Jury Street for an active domestic dispute. The victim was upset and had a black and blue eye. The victim also had blood on her face, arms and neck. The suspect, Tyrone Quartey came home intoxicated and began to argue with the victim. During the argument, it became physical when he struck her several times. Mr. Quartey was taken into custody for simple assault and disorderly conduct. He was transported to the booking center for arraignment and processing.
