On 8/18/22 Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police responded to the 4900 block of Wynnewood Rd on the report of a male running with an infant in his arms and yelling that the infant had drowned. Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police Officers conducted an investigation and determined the infant was injured from an assault. Devine Davis was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and related offenses. The infant suffered life threatening injuries from the assault.
On 2/22/23 the infant passed away. The death was ruled a homicide. Davis was then charged with murder. Davis was already incarcerated on the previous aggravated assault charge. Davis was arraigned on the murder charge on 3/7/23. He was given no bail on the murder charge and remains incarcerated.
