On 1/5/21 at 12:07PM Lower Paxton Township Police were dispatched to the report of a robbery at the M&T Bank in the 4900 block of Jonestown Rd. The suspect provided a note to the Teller advising the bank was being robbed. The suspect then fled with cash. Lower Paxton Township Police provided a description of the suspect and the suspect vehicle to the surrounding Police Departments. Approximately 1 hour later Susquehanna Township Police officers located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. As a result Shamont Sapp was taken into custody and charged with robbery. Sapp was arraigned and placed in Dauphin County Prison on $100,000.00 bail.
