The Warrant Officer is responsible for the service of arrest warrants issued by the courts. He also maintains the files on the approximate 1,000 outstanding criminal and traffic warrants in Lower Paxton Township.
Warrant service details have been conducted in cooperation with the LPPD Criminal Investigations Division, County Probation and Parole Office, and the County Sheriff’s Office. These details focus on apprehending high risk and repeat criminals.
