Statewide Crackdown on Aggressive Drivers

Lower Paxton Township Police Department Participating in Statewide Crackdown on Aggressive Drivers on July 24

Local and state law enforcement officers are maintaining increased aggressive driving enforcement that began July 8 and will continue through August 25.  Efforts are stepping up on July 24 for a statewide day of aggressive driving enforcement, which focuses on reducing crashes, fatalities, and injuries, not only in the South-Central region but throughout the state, as well.

The enforcement is part of the Pennsylvania Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project and is funded by part of PennDOT’s $2.5 million investment of federal funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
