While it is understandable that emotions run high with recent high-profile allegations of police misconduct, it is unfathomable that a person would intentionally plan for and murder officers at a peaceful rally. Medication Disposal Available
The Medreturn drop-box in the lobby of the police station for disposal of unneeded/unused prescription and over-the-counter medications is accessible between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. To dispose of medications at another time, please call the police dispatcher at 558-6900 and an officer can meet you at the station. Residents are encouraged to remove medications from the labeled prescription bottles and to use a zip-loc bag for disposal.

Resident reported to police that, while she was home on April 15, 2015 at about 1:00 PM, she thought she heard someone in her house which is located in the 100 block of Fairview Dr. Upon investigating, she determined that someone had, in fact, entered her bedroom and had removed cash from her purse.
Resident of a home in the 6600 block of Conway Rd. reported to police that someone had entered his residence and had stolen a bag full of assorted golf items from a locked office. The crime occured sometime between April 1, 2015 and April 12, 2015.

Someone removed the copper from two Air Conditioning units at a building at 5405 Locust Ln. that is being renovated for the Infinity Charter School. In addition, about 130 feet of gutter was also stolen. This occured between Friday, April 3rd, and Wednesday, April 15th.
Officers on a traffic stop at Princess Ave. and Royal Ave. in Lower Paxton Township discovered heroin packets and needles in a car. Arrested were Douglas James Sweigard and Zora Alexandra Bartles, both of the 1100 block of Pond Rd.
