The horrific murders of Police Officers in Dallas has been a very difficult issue for the law enforcement community nationwide. While it is understandable that emotions run high with recent high-profile allegations of police misconduct, it is unfathomable that a person would intentionally plan for and murder officers at a peaceful rally. Medication Disposal Available
The Medreturn drop-box in the lobby of the police station for disposal of unneeded/unused prescription and over-the-counter medications is accessible between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. To dispose of medications at another time, please call the police dispatcher at 558-6900 and an officer can meet you at the station. Residents are encouraged to remove medications from the labeled prescription bottles and to use a zip-loc bag for disposal.

Someone removed the copper from two Air Conditioning units at a building at 5405 Locust Ln. that is being renovated for the Infinity Charter School. In addition, about 130 feet of gutter was also stolen. This occured between Friday, April 3rd, and Wednesday, April 15th.
Officers on a traffic stop at Princess Ave. and Royal Ave. in Lower Paxton Township discovered heroin packets and needles in a car. Arrested were Douglas James Sweigard and Zora Alexandra Bartles, both of the 1100 block of Pond Rd.

On March 25, 2015 at approximately 12:30 PM, a 73 year old Lower Paxton Twp. resident had her wallet stolen at the Infinitos Pizza Buffet on Union Deposit Rd. The wallet contained the victim's credit cards, PA operator license and cash. Later that day, the victim's debit card was used to make...
