Medication Disposal Available
The Medreturn drop-box in the lobby of the police station for disposal of unneeded/unused prescription and over-the-counter medications is accessible between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. To dispose of medications at another time, please call the police dispatcher at 558-6900 and an officer can meet you at the station. Residents are encouraged to remove medications from the labeled prescription bottles and to use a zip-loc bag for disposal.

An apartment in the 400 block of Amherst Dr. was entered and cash and jewelry stolen. The crime occured sometime between 3:00 PM and 9:30 PM on Saturday, May 16th. A similar burglary occured in the same block during the same time period and is assumed to be related.
An apartment in the 400 block of Amherst Dr., Pennswood Apartments, was forcibly entered on Saturday, May 16th, between 4:45 PM and 9:15 PM. Cash, IPhone chargers and identification was stolen. Another burglary in the same block during the same time period is assumed to be related.
A residential burglary was reported on Friday, May 14th, by a resident in the 5800 block of Hillsborough Ct. Someone removed cash from inside the home between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM on Friday. Manner of entry is unknown at this time.
