Medication Disposal Available
The Medreturn drop-box in the lobby of the police station for disposal of unneeded/unused prescription and over-the-counter medications is accessible between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. To dispose of medications at another time, please call the police dispatcher at 558-6900 and an officer can meet you at the station. Residents are encouraged to remove medications from the labeled prescription bottles and to use a zip-loc bag for disposal.

An apartment on Ringneck Dr. in the Village of Laurel Ridge apartment complex was entered between 2:00 PM on June 30th and 3:30 AM on July 1st. The apartment was ransacked but, at this time, it does not appear that anything is missing.
A resident of the 5000 block of Trent Rd. reported that his apartment was entered while he was not home and a plasma TV and a gold pendant necklace were taken. This occurred between 8:00 PM Friday evening, June 27th, and 3:45 AM Saturday morning, June 28th.
