During the last week of September the Steelton Police conducted an undercover detail with assistance from the Dauphin County Drug Task Force in reference to persons dealing heroin in the borough. In the 700 block of South River Alley officers did arrest Kylel Brown after he sold two bundles of heroin. He was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a communication device.
In the 200 block of Lincoln Street officers did arrest Esmelda Rodriguez after she sold two bundles of heroin. As officers approached her to serve a search warrant she did flush drugs down her toilet. She was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal use of a communication device and tampering with physical evidence.
Both were taken to the Dauphin County Judicial Center for arraignment.
