A female pit puppy was found this evening in the 100 block of South 4th Street. We will be holding the puppy until tomorrow to attempt and locate the owners. If anyone has any information please call 717-558-6900.
On 12-31-19 at approximately 6:30pm, Steelton Borough Police were dispatched to the 800 block of South Front Street for a report of a retail theft. Officers spoke to the complainant who stated that an older black male left without paying for a bed comforter. The Steelton Police are currently asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in the attached photos. The suspect did arrange through an online website to purchase a white 2011 BMW 335i. While at the Turkey Hill parking lot in Steelton the suspect did steal the BMW and fled outside the borough.
The Steelton Police are asking the publics help in identifying the woman in these photos in reference to a theft that occurred. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Steelton Police at 717-939-9841.
On Tuesday 10-08-19 at approximately 2:45 there was an incident reported in the area of South 7th Street at Terrace Ave. The victim reported he confronted a large group of juveniles walking home from school who were throwing things at his vehicle. At this time six juveniles did begin to assault him.
On 09-30-19 Michael D. Magaro II plead guilty to 3rd degree murder, firearms offenses and tampering with evidence at the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas. The Honorable William Tully sentenced Magaro to 25 to 50 years in a state correctional facility. This stems from an incident that occurred on 11-06-17 in the 400 block of North Front Street in the borough of Steelton.
