On Thursday, 12-27-2018 the Susquehanna Township Police Department took a report of a stolen vehicle from the 200 block of Redwood St., Harrisburg PA. The vehicle, a 2013 Maroon Chevy Silverado was stolen from the owner's driveway.
On Saturday, 12-29-2018 at 1320 hours an officer from Susquehanna Township Police Department observed the vehicle traveling on the 2100 block of Walnut St., Harrisburg PA. A felony traffic stop was made at the intersection of N. Progress Ave. and Centerfield Rd., Harrisburg PA The four occupants were taken into custody safely.
The driver, 18 year old Emauri Barnes was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Barnes was taken to the Dauphin County Booking Center for processing and arraignment. He is currently in Dauphin County Prison.
The three passengers, all juveniles were taken into custody. All three were wanted by Dauphin County Juvenile Probation for violating their probation. They were taken to the Dauphin County Booking Center and later transported to South Mountain Detention Facility.
