On February 18, 2019 at 1623 hours, Swatara Township Police assisted Swatara Township Fire-Rescue with residential structure fire that occurred at the intersection of Boyer and Larch Streets. Swatara Township Fire-Rescue with the assistance of mutual aid Fire Departments extinguished the fire. A female occupant of that residence was transported to a local hospital as a result of this fire. The fire is being investigated by the Swatara Township Fire Marshal and the Swatara Township Police Department.
