We need your help!

On 10/17/2020 at approximately 11:13 p.m. a motorist observed a male lying down on Orchard Drive at the intersection with North Harrisburg Street. When the motorist stopped to help, the male stood up and stated that he had sustained some injuries after a fall. The motorist called 911 and Swatara Township Police Officers responded to the scene. In speaking with the male, his injuries did not seem to be indicative of a simple fall. He was missing one shoe which was located several hundred feet to the west along Orchard Drive. The 31-year-old male was transported to a local hospital for his injuries.

At this point in time, the Swatara Township Police Department is actively investigating the incident in an effort to determine what might have actually happened to cause the victim's injuries. It is possible that he was struck by a passing car or fell from a moving vehicle. Anyone with information relative to this incident is urged to call the Swatara Township Police at 717-564-2550.
