Distraction Burglary Warning:
There have been several incidents in the area in which a male and female pose as home improvement contractors, distract the homeowners and burglarize the residence. They may represent themselves as handymen, roofers, utility workers or driveway repair persons and are very convincing. The suspects have been described as a white male with a beard and a white female with brown hair. They are reported to be driving a black Dodge pick up truck. If anyone comes to your residence without being called and offers to perform repair services please use extreme caution. If you are not sure of their legitimacy please contact the Swatara Township Police Department immediately so that an officer can speak with them to ensure their legitimacy.
