On Tuesday, April 2, 2019 the Dauphin County 911 center received 104 phone calls from Stephen ILIJIC between the hours of 0040 and 0714 hours. During many of these phone calls ILIJIC was harassing in nature and threatening to the 911 staff. During a phone call with a Swatara Township Police officers he made statements indicated that he would cause life threatening harm to the officers. The Dauphin County District Attorney's office approved an arrest warrant charging Mr. ILIJIC with Harassment and Obstruction of the Administration of Governmental Functions. Officers from Swatara Township spoke with ILIJIC for over two hours on the phone after which he was taken into custody at his residence in the 500 block of Luther Road at 12:41 p.m. without further incident. The Dauphin County CRT assisted the Swatara Police with this incident. Mr. ILIJIC is currently being evaluated at a local medical facility and will be arraigned on the charges upon his discharge. For safety reasons, additional temporary security measures were put into place at the Swatara Township Municipal building prior to Mr. ILIJIC being taken into custody.
