SUSPECT IN CUSTODY - Attempted Homicide
UPDATE - SUSPECT APPREHENDED
Terrence BROWN was taken into custody without incident last evening with the assistance of the Penbrook and Susquehanna Twp. Police Departments. The Swatara Police would also like to thank the pubic for providing information that assisted in locating BROWN.
On June 10, 2018 at 1153 hours, Swatara Township Police responded to a report of an assault that occurred overnight at a hotel along the 900 block of Eisenhower Boulevard. Officers interviewed a female victim who reported that she and TERRANCE BROWN began to argue shortly after checking into their room. During this argument BROWN struck her several times causing her to fall to the ground at which time BROWN then kicked her. The victim then attempted to bathe during which time BROWN entered the bathroom and pushed her head underwater while verbally threatening to kill her. BROWN pulled the victim out of the tub by her throat and continued choking her on the bed. The victim said that she was able to escape after BROWN fell asleep.
Based on this report, Swatara Township Police has obtained an arrest warrant for TERRANCE L. BROWN charging him with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Strangulation, Terroristic Threats and Simple Assault.
TERRANCE BROWN is described as a black male, 48 years old, 5'09", approximately 210 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.
