Coffee with a Cop, which is one of our department's many community outreach events, has returned after being postponed due to COVID-19.  On June 10th, the Promenade Restaurant opened their doors and allowed us to host this month's session.  Residents of Swatara Township and Paxtang Borough are welcome to attend these monthly meetings, which allows us to get to know those in attendance on a personal level, while speaking to residents about things occurring in and around the township and borough.  During the Coffee with a Cop meetings we discuss our department's crime statistics, current crime trends, community service events, active traffic studies and other topics.  We also provide an opportunity for those in attendance to ask questions to the Public Safety Director, Darrell Reider.  Coffee with a Cop is a great way to build a positive relationship with your local police department and stay up to date with any issues that affect your community.

We are pleased to announce that the next Coffee with a Cop session will be held at the Swatara Township building on Thursday July 15th at 9am.  We will also be serving breakfast to those in attendance.  We hope to see you there!
