The Steelton-Highspire School District started a hybrid learning model this week, which has half of the students coming in for in person learning and the other half remaining online.  Students were split into two groups, Group A and Group B.  Group A students returned to the classrooms this past Monday.  Group B students returned to the classroom yesterday.  Swatara Township's Director of Public Safety Darrell Reider, Swatara Township Commissioner Zubeck along with Cpl. Pokrop, Officer Stewart and Lt. Krahling were all in attendance to welcome the students back.  Parents still had the option to keep their child at home to continue online learning full time.  Many of the students that we spoke to were excited to be back in school because it meant they got to see their teachers and friends again.  Welcome Back Rollers.
