Swatara Officers Support Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. Today the uniformed members of the Swatara Township Police Department donned their “Pink” badge patches to support those affected by this disease during the month of October.

Members of the public can purchase “Pink” badge patches (as well as the Autism Awareness and Military Appreciation Patches) by completing the form located on the website and submitting it with payment to the department. Each Badge Patch costs $5.00 each, with 100% of the money being donated to one of three Awareness/Support organizations regarding their respective cause.
