Swatara Packs delivered to Tri-Community Elementary School

The Swatara Township Police Department delivered “Swatara Packs” to the Tri-Community Elementary School on 2/14/19 to supplement a program Central Dauphin School District already has in place for less fortunate families.  The Central Dauphin School District provides Nutripacks, which contain various food items, to families of students who are in need.  Swatara Township spent some time in January putting the Swatara Packs together with intentions of helping less fortunate families throughout the community.  The Swatara Packs contained snacks, treats and drinks that were placed in blue draw string backpacks, which will be distributed to families who participate in the Nutripack program.  We would like to thank the Principal and Guidance Counselor at Tri-C Elementary School for allowing us to supplement this program.
