Swatara Police make Donation to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition

“Through the sales of the Swatara Township Police Department’s Specialty Patch Program, the Swatara Police Department made a donation of $310 to the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition.  The Specialty Patch Program was started in the fall of 2019 and was a way for our police department to give back to the community.  The Specialty Patch Program features a pink police uniform patch which displays two pink ribbons in support of breast cancer awareness.  The patch can be purchased from the department for $5.00 each.  All of the money raised from the sale of these patches goes directly to the PA Breast Cancer Coalition.  Our officers were authorized to wear the pink patch as part of their uniform during the month of October in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness month.  We would like to thank everyone who purchased a patch in support of this great cause.  If you would like to purchase a specialty patch please refer to our website where you can fill out an order form.”
