Swatara Police show support for Breast Cancer and Autism awareness

The Swatara Township Police Department started a new initiative to show support for Breast Cancer and Autism awareness.  The pink patch and the Autism patch depicted in the picture were distributed to all of our officers.  During the month of October, officers will be wearing the pink patch in support of Breast Cancer awareness.  The Autism patch will be worn during the month of April for Autism Awareness month.  These patches are also available to purchase by the public.  Each patch is $5.00 and all of the money raised will be donated to local charities that represent both Breast Cancer and Autism awareness and research.  Just another way our officers can show their support to community members and support two great causes at the same time.  Patches can be purchased at the police department located at the Swatara Township Municipal building, during normal business hours.  Help us show support throughout the community by purchasing these unique police patches today!
