On February 9th, 2019, Swatara Township Police were dispatched to Macy's Backstage parking lot at the Harrisburg Mall for an unattended child in a vehicle. It was determined that Courtney Smith left her 2 year old child in her vehicle while she went into the store.
On January 15th, 2020, Swatara Township Police were dispatched to a non-injury accident. It was determined that Laurica Haynes hit the victims vehicle then fled the scene. When she was stopped it was determined that she was driving under the influence.
On January 2, 2020, William Reese was stopped for vehicle violations. It was found that he was driving without a license and had fraudulent inspection and emissions stickers on the vehicle. He has had 28 prior convictions of driving without a license.
